ResizeImageInKb.com is an independent utility for making photos easier to attach, share and use online. You can choose a maximum file size, adjust dimensions, crop, compare the preview and download an image or a batch ZIP. The tool is available in multiple languages so more people can use it comfortably.

How it works

Image processing runs in your browser using Canvas. JPEG and WebP use adjustable encoding quality; PNG may need smaller dimensions to meet a small size cap. The tool displays actual output size and dimensions so you can check the result. It does not certify passport photos or guarantee portal acceptance.

Our additional tools compare image properties with entered requirements, combine images into a PDF and attempt PDF size reduction. PDF creation and previews use bundled browser libraries. The reducer offers Less, Medium and High compression with an optional custom size. Compressed copies contain page images and lose selectable text and interactive features. Selected image and PDF files stay in the browser during processing.
