Images and PDFs are processed in your browser

The image resizer, requirements checker, Image to PDF and PDF Size Reducer read the files you select and process them using your browser. Selected files and generated previews or results are not uploaded to our servers by these workflows. There is no account or file library on this website. The PDF preview code, fonts and processing resources are served as website assets; your document bytes are processed locally. Close the page to release the tool's working memory; files you download remain on your device.

Exporting through Canvas generally removes original EXIF metadata. This does not remove information visible in the image, and we do not promise absolute security or guaranteed removal of every identifying detail. Use a trusted device and inspect the result before sharing it.

Optional Google Analytics

With your permission, we load Google Analytics 4 to measure visits, page interactions and technical information such as browser/device type, referring pages and approximate region. Google processes analytics information under its own policies. Analytics is separate from file processing: we do not send image or PDF files, previews or their contents to Analytics.

Analytics is off until you select “Allow analytics.” Declining does not affect the image tool. When allowed, Analytics can use first-party _ga cookies and a session cookie to distinguish visits. We configure their lifetime to six months and turn off Google signals and ad-personalization signals in the tag.

You can change your choice using “Privacy choices” in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics after the page reloads and clears accessible Analytics cookies. It does not automatically erase previously collected data from Google's systems.

Storage on your device

• theme remembers light or dark appearance.
• preferred_locale remembers the language suggestion you chose.
• privacy_choice_v1 remembers your analytics choice for up to 180 days.

These preferences use localStorage. Clearing website storage resets them. Browsers that block storage can still use the tool, but preferences may not persist.

Hosting, performance and fonts

Our hosting and content-delivery providers, including Cloudflare, receive network information needed to deliver the website, such as IP address, browser headers and request time. Cloudflare may collect performance measurements through its Web Analytics beacon. Its Web Analytics is designed to operate without analytics cookies; image contents are not included in our performance measurements.

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Requests to that service disclose technical network information such as your IP address and browser headers. These requests are separate from optional Google Analytics. Provider processing and retention are governed by their policies: Cloudflare and Google.

Advertising and Google services

This website is intended to be funded through advertising. Our current application build does not load Google advertising tags. If Google ads are enabled, Google and advertising partners may collect or share information through cookies, web beacons, IP addresses and other identifiers to deliver, measure and, where permitted, personalize advertising. This does not give them access to the image files processed by the tool.

Before personalized Google ads are enabled for users in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, an appropriate Google-certified advertising consent platform must be configured. The analytics choice on this site is not an advertising CMP. Available advertising choices will depend on the deployed advertising service and the user's region.

Contact and your choices

If you email hello@resizeimageinkb.com, we receive the address and information you include so we can respond. Do not send identity documents, passwords or sensitive images when requesting support.

To ask about data associated with a support message or request its deletion, contact the same address. You can clear local storage and cookies in your browser and withdraw analytics consent from the footer. Providers may also offer their own data controls.

Changes

We update this policy when our processing changes and show the revision date above. We will update the deployed disclosures and consent settings before introducing additional advertising or analytics processing.
