Using the tools

ResizeImageInKb.com provides free browser-based image resizing, cropping, compression and technical requirements checks, image-to-PDF creation and PDF size reduction. No account is required. You are responsible for using files you own or have permission to modify, and for following the rules of the service to which you submit a result.

Your images

You retain your rights in your input images and results. We do not claim ownership of them. The resizing workflow processes image files in your browser rather than uploading them to our servers. Website analytics and infrastructure processing are described separately in our Privacy Policy.

File size and quality

A target KB or MB value is a requested maximum, not a promise of an exact byte count. Encoding may reduce visual quality, and a small target can require smaller dimensions. Some targets cannot be achieved. Check the actual output size, dimensions and preview before downloading or submitting a file. Keep the original image.

PNG export can preserve transparency, but resizing changes pixels. GIF input produces a still image rather than a preserved animation. The requirements checker compares only the technical rules you enter; it does not certify image content or third-party acceptance.

PDF tools

Image to PDF places images on separate pages, with white backgrounds and optional margins. It does not perform OCR. All three PDF compression levels rebuild pages as images and remove searchable text, links, editable forms, layers and interactive features, with possible quality loss. A custom size target may remain unmet, and some files may not become smaller. Use compressed copies only when an image-only document is suitable, and inspect the saved document. If no smaller copy is produced, the offered download contains your unchanged original.

Signed PDFs, signature fields, password-protected PDFs and dynamic XFA forms are not supported by the reducer. Do not use a changed document where an original or a valid digital signature is required. Browser memory and file/page limits may prevent processing. Your original files are not overwritten.

Presets and application requirements

Presets are starting settings. Where we provide a checked specification, we link its official source and show a review date. Other example settings must be compared with your current form or notice. Requirements vary by application, country and year.

We are an independent utility, unaffiliated with any government, exam board, embassy or social platform. We do not certify identity photos or guarantee acceptance. Size and dimensions alone do not check background, head position, lighting, recency, photographer rules or live camera requirements. Some authorities prohibit digital alteration; use an original compliant photo when required.

Availability and limitations

The service is offered as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, suitability for every device or acceptance by a third party. Review results yourself, keep originals and allow time before an application deadline. Our responsibility is limited to the extent permitted by applicable law; these terms do not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
